I want to renovate an old bungalow, 39 years, work is quite a bit eg extension at back, new integral garage at front, with existing garage converted, pitched roof. Plus alterations internally. I have all architect plans, and construction plans. I now want to seek quotations/tenders.
I have never done this before so would be grateful for all suggestions and even a form of words. I dont want to miss anything out and then find later it is added to cost??? Can I specify how I want to pay ie in stages?
Do I say tender or quote? Do I specify a respond by date?
Help!
I dont want to scare off any potential builders but at the same time I only have a finite amount of money.
