Hi, I worked in the UK for about 3.5 years back in the 1990s.
How do I get proof of National Insurance Contributions paid there so I can get my PRSI record updated?
As I was a parent in the home for a spell my PRSI contributions here are a bit short for the Contributory pension.
I know there's the form that you request to make NI contributions towards a UK pension but I'm thinking that's not it.

You may be better off paying voluntary UK NI contributions backward to get a full or close to full UK state pension.

Have a look at this thread.

In the meantime to learn about your NI record write to HMRC and include your NI number, details of UK addresses, etc.
