Hi
I am working in a childcare centre that gets funding from various goverment office mainly the office of the Minister for children. This funding is adminestered by Pobal. The childcare centre which is community run and not for profit had to form a company this year to comply with getting their funds from pobal. Now the problem is that we have been employed here for 4 years under one tax number but now they are changing the tax number and giving us p45 at the end of june and on the first of july we will be employed by this limited company. My query is if this place closes in a year or 2 or one of the staff is let go due to falling numbers what implications will be from accepting a p45 now. Can the staff object to getting a p45 when still keeping the jobs. Any advice please.
