Do you require a password to get on to your UPC?
Have you tried another browser?
If you are trying to connect wirelessly,have you tried a cable from the router instead?
Can other laptops in the house connect ok?
Right-click on the connection icon in the bottom-right of the screen and click Troubleshoot problems. If you can't see the connection icon, click on the little triangle and it should be in the little box that pops up. Go through the steps there and see what happens.
