Getting a US Visa

HAs anyone gotten or know of anyone who has gotten a work permit for USA ?

DO you have to have a job offer before getting a visa?

Is there a US equivalent to the skilled migration visa for oz?

Have you checked the USCIS website?

I've gotten one, but a different sort. I had to do a photo shoot over there, and was required to get one (even though I was being paid by my employer in the UK). But yes, I had to have letters/reason/ etc to say why I needed one, what I was doing, very thorough. Presume if you're going to live there would be even stricter.
