German tax issues

I lived in Germany and worked there as an IT contractor for a number of years. The German authorities had problems with my tax returns and have now started some form of legal action against me - punishment charges as well as the original amount owed plus interest at 6% per year.

I need some solid tax advice as to what they can and cannot do here in Ireland - I'm hearing a lot of frightening stuff about arrest warrants etc. etc.

Can anybody recommend a good tax laywer with suitable experience?
