Gas prices will be cut by 12 per cent from May following a decision by the energy regulator to pass a fall in global gas prices to Irish consumers.
In my view, Energy regulator initiated the cut when the demand for heating is less in summer... same happened with electricity price cuts... they go up before winter and get reduced only after the months when the demand is least.
