Hi all,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that supply and fit garden sheds? (ideally steel)

Extra brownie points if they also remove your current shed.

I'm based in north Dublin.

I didn't go with them in the end, went with a wooden one and didn't have one to remove - just mentioning them in case you don't get a recommendation.

They have a bunch of steel sheds on display in Jamestown business park in Finglas, and they do assembly for an extra charge.
I don't see a FAQ question on removal of old shed.

I used Adman Steel Sheds in Gorey, (I'm based in Galway). Didn't have one to remove.

Found them very good.

Lots of suppliers available, I went with Adman due to number of positive Google reviews. I couldn't fault them.
 
Went with Sheds Direct in Finglas and found them excellent, there was a minor cosmetic flaw on the door and they replaced it quickly and with no fuss.

Fitter was excellent as well. They are busy so may be a few weeks waiting list.

I stuck the old shed up on adverts.ie and sold it for 125 euro.....chap arrived and broke it down with a mate.

It wasn't in great nick but he had a use for it but you may get the usual timewasters....price it well or for free and someone will nibble.
 
I used Clane Steel Sheds recently and found them excellent. In fairness I had prepared the site beforehand and they just had to install it. Took two lads just under two hours and they were very clean, polite and efficient.

Pleased with the results. Remarkably in this day and age, I didn't have to pay a deposit and paid in full (over the phone) after the shed had been erected and the lads had gone! Naturally I paid them straightaway, but I could see how that business model could lead to headaches...
 
I used Adman last year and found them excellent. Well organised, good communicators and punctual etc.

I had a previous experience with the market leader (for a large and expensive bespoke shed) and found them difficult to deal with, prone to errors, not dependable and when I ultimately relayed my concerns and disappointment directly to the MD found him to be arrogant, defensive and disinterested. It left a bad taste and I wouldn't recommend them.
 
I got a shed from Clane sheds last year. They have a frame around the bottom of the shed, so you don't need a concrete base. Up to size 3m x 6m. Delivered to Cork, done in 3 hours. Invoice on installation.
