Garden path material - on a tight budget...

Hi, I've to get my garden drained, and a new path laid. I have a list of materials that I need to price, and really don't know where to start. I've family doing for me, so I need to get moving before they take back their offer to help!!!

For the path, I need some sort of stone, hard core and sand. For the drainage I need perforated pipe, a tank, a water submergible pump, washed stone etc. I'm assuming the same sort of place with stock most of this stuff.

Can anyone recommend somewhere, or even a suggestion of where to start looking?
