Garden Awning

Hi

I recently bought a Garden awning (Teflon Canvas- extendable type-manual).

Came with wall mounting brackets and the intructions to fit are relatively simple (once the brackets are up)

I am relatively DIY savvy and have no problems attempting this but just want to make sure I do it right

Not entirely sure what the best way to mount the brackets to the outside wall is.

Outside wall is (most likely) concrete or cinder block which is pebble dashed.

The brackets are galvanised steel. What is the best way to fix them to the wall. The holes in the brackets for the screws/bolts are approx 10mm.

Whats the best type of screw/bolt to put these up

Presuming I need the following

High powered hammer drill
Ratchet set etc
Level
Chalk line

Any advice on what bolts/fixings to use?
