Am, like so many others, an unwitting victim of the French leaseback disaster where mis-selling & fraud was/is rife. Have now defaulted on my (French) mortgage as might as well have thrown money into the bin. Am taking legal action (in France) against a number of parties based both there & here. It's a long drawn out & stressful process.
My question is do others have any personal experience of either (a) having had a successful outcome to such action (b) been pursued by a French institution in Ireland looking for repayment of their il-gotten gains.
People like me have been conned/de-frauded but have, until recently, regarded ourselves as being somehow at fault whereas the opposite is the case undoubtedly.
Any help or advice appreciated.
