Trying to decide the finish for edge of hob

Option with framed, flush or framless
The framed option is with a stainless steel trim

Any practical advise on this??

Ours is a bosch and is frameless which is great for cleaning, no knobs or frame to get in the way, used every day for the last 10 years and still like new

Mine is framed - is handy when/if pots boil over - contains the spill, but would agree with NHG - knobs are awkward to clean.

The frame will give the edges an extra degree of protection from knocks.

I have frameless one and love it as it is so easy to clean and it looks lovely but somebody dropped a knife or something on it and it is chipped. Have bought framed one for new kitchen but mainly because I couldn't get exactly what I wanted without frame.

I would recommend touch control with stainless steel framed edge.

Easy to clean
Will hold up to a pint of liquid should something boil over
IMHO they look better

Having said that, whether you get a framed one or not is up to you but I would defo get a touch control.
