When completing Form 12 in respect of tax returns, do I have to send in evidence of my State pension? In previous years I contact Social Services and get a breakdown of my State Pension in letter format, then I submit this to the Revenue along with my tax return.
If I just state what I received on the form is that not sufficient? My understanding is that the Revenue already have this confirmed information on record. Why do I need to send in supporting documentation?
