I have just filled Form 12 (with difficulty) and sent it off.
I notice there is a section No.5 for lump sum payments from 2005 to 2010.
I received a Tax free lump sum from my pension when the Annuity started in 2008. I have declared this on the form,
Does this now mean that it will be considered for tax?

The form 12 was for income in 2011 ? Why did you mention a lump sum received in 2008 ? They will probably get in touch and ask for clarification if they deem you to owe them money.

I assume they will contact you to query if your lump sum earned interest which should be declared.

As I was under the taxable limit, and DIRT exempt, there should not be any interest. I could not even claim off my MED1 form because I paid no tax
