I'm currently filing a tax return for last year, 07, and recording a loss. I made a loss the previous year also and there is a box available to add this. However, there is no grand total loss box on the form. Can I claim loss from multiple years or is it just the last year i.e. 06 I can claim back on ? I I can claim from more than one previous year do I just keep a record of the losses year on year till I reach a profit and explain in a letter why ? Next year I will have a loss from previous 2 years and just wondering do I need to fill in another box stating this somewhere.
