Will our personal savings be looked into and taxed?? I really have no idea about this kind of stuff at all
DIRT tax is taken at source from your personal savings so nothing to worry about.
P12 is an annual Income Tax return for people whose primary source of income is PAYE income. If you are in receipt of income apart from that earned and taxed as an employee you have an obligation to declare this on P12. Examples are rental income, dividends, pensions, Capital Gains through the sale of property other than your PPR, etc.
It there was an option somewhere on the site to submit 3 p12 forms online and the status beside them was "outstanding" I filled them in and submitted and then realised I did not need to do so at all. I'm sure it will be ok tho. They prob just going to be wondering why I was submitting these for no reason.

Thanks a mill I rang them and they said it all seems ok once the info was correct then there should be no prob and that there was a glitch in the online site that was asking people to submit this form that didn't have too and that if it happens s again to just ignore it unless we actually receive forms in the postWhy do you want to submit 3?
If you made an error, you can adjust it. Your best bet is to ring the Revenue and talk it through with someone there. They will be able to give you guidance. Or drop them an email. I've always found them fine to deal with. No need to worry.
