Form 11E

I am currently living outside of Ireland and I have tenants in my apartment. This is the first tax return I have to make.

Is Form 11E what I need to make my tax return? I have received it in the post but it does not look correct to me.

Any ideas?

if you didnt get a helpsheet with form11e -and you should have - you can download it and note where it states that the form11e is not suitable for nonresidents and that they should fill out a form 11 (online).

Frankly, its far too long a form for someone with just a couple of sources of income but I don't think you have an alternative -except for not submitting a form at all which is exactly what thousands of Irish ex-pats do.

P.S. I assume you know the Revenue rules about tenants of overseas residents withholding 20% of the rent and sending it to Revenue instead ?

Yeah, I know of the requirement but I have a brother "vouching" for me so that doesn't have to be done.

I have put in for my ROS code and got a letter to send back in, which I have done, but have had no response since.
