Form 11 tax return

I sent of tax return for a house I rent out using a word document which has always been ok in the past but revenue have returned along with a form 11 that I need to fill out.
Both my wife and I are normal paye taxpayers,but have a house we rent out.

Question is do I fill out just the Irish Rental Income(201-211) section on page 8,

You will have to fill in all the sections of the Tax Return that apply to you and your wife. So, you would need to complete the rental income section and the Paye employment section. Don't forget to complete the section for claiming tax relief on things such as medical expenses, bin charges etc near the end of the Form11.

If you are PAYE taxpayers with only one rental property then you probably shouldn't be filing a Form 11 at all; more likely a Form 12 would be correct, and simpler. Maybe ring the tax office next week and ask them to clarify which return is appropriate.
