Form 11 - PAYE Tax Credit

Hi all,
When filling Form11 in the section 'personal tax credits' it asks 'PAYE tax Credit, tick the box if claimed'............... I am unsure of this question and cant get a clear answer from notes. If I havent already claimed anything do I leave this blank?

You tick this box only if you were a paye worker during that year (2009)

I presume that you also tick this box if you have retired from work and have an occupational pension under PAYE

Not necessarily - If you're a proprietary director of the company you're in full-time employment with, you're not entitled to the PAYE tax credit.
