I travel to various countries for my company and was made aware of the FED scheme by a colleague who said I may qualify. I have read the booklet and I believe I now qualify as they have reduced the number of days required to be applicable and they have also changed the qualifying period from a calendar year to a 12 month period over 24 months. I have the letter from my employer stating the days of travel as below
My question is how to apply for it and was wondering if anyone has done it recently. Revenue website states to apply to your local tax office with the letter from the employer but do I need to do anything else or is the letter sufficient.

- 18th October to October 29th 2022 - (11 Days Brazil)
- 22nd April to April 29th 2023 - (7 Days Mexico)
- 15th July to July 30th 2023 - (15 Days Mexico)
- 10th November to November 17th 2023 - (7 Days Thailand)
