What a day . . . I'm not long back from a 4.5 hour round trip to view a commercial unit I saw for let.
The adveristment had read FOR SALE/TO LET. To me that means its either for sale or for let?? I had no interest in purchasing it just leasing.
When I got there, had a look around, decided this was a definite possibility; I asked the EA what annual figures had the landlord got in mind. "Oh", she says. "The landlord is not really interested in renting the place but would rather it be sold; but while you are here do you mind if I take all your details so I can pass it on to the purchasing customer. It looks so much better when you sell the propery with a list of interested tenents!"
You can imagine my reply . . .
