Folding doors in weightbearing wall...rsj required?

I want to knock out part of a loading bearing internal wall and replace with folding doors. The doors will take up about half the existing wall.Not sure if rsj is for completely removing a wall.

If rsj required....does this mean that the wall will have to be knocked to the ceiling height? or is it something that would go above the door frame?

Any idea of cost? Thanks
