Flying to Rome?

Does anyone know the cheapest airline to fly to Rome with? So, far the cheapest I have found is aerlingus with €522 for two people return (hoping to go there start of April) - would it be better to wait till nearer the time?
 
If your dates are close to Easter, which falls at the very end of March next year, then flights are likely to be hugely expensive.

AL were advertising a seat sale in the paper yesterday. Nothing on that ?

What are Ryanair offering ?

Have you considered trying BMI / BA's websites and changing somewhere in England?
 
Well it's the 2nd April which is the weekend after easter supposedly so hopefully the prices won't be too bad.

Alitalia are actually more expensive than aerlingus from what i can see and Ryanair don't do a direct flight Dublin-Rome. I checked how much it would be Dublin-Stansted and Stansted-Rome but it works out dearer (taxes cost more than the flights!!!) so we'd probably stick with a direct flight from Dublin.
