Fixing bad credit history

Is there any way to address a bad credit history? I have a CCJ. It was due to not paying a loan off with BOI. I had taken out insurance but they "lost" the paper work. I ignored any mail from them as I was ****ed having paid my insurance that they didnt want to back it. I did pay the loan off in full.

I have been late with mortgage payments for years. Still am. But my mortgage is very small and the house is worth abit.

I am sick of worrying about all this and would like to put it behind me

What I need to know is there a way to fix this? How do I get back to good credit status?

Are you in Ireland. I think CCJ is a UK term ?

In that case you will need to get all loans current and wait 5 years

When you say "late" with your mortgage payments, how do you mean? Are they paid within 30days?

Order a report. Review it. Pay outstanding arrears. Do not miss even 1 payment for at least 5 years.
