Fixing a cow's horn - what to use?

Ok, the cow in question is a porcelain one from a christmas crib, and its missing a horn.

Any modellers / hobbyists out there: anything you can recommend please to model a new horn and stick on to the stump to make it look a bit more symmetric?!

Take the other horn off. I think its illegal for cattle to have horns in Ireland now. I have been at a few 'de-hornings' in my time and it's not pretty. I doubt the porcelain cow will spew blood everywhere (unless your crib is possessed) but there is a very handy black powder to stop the bleeding etc....
 
I wouldn't like to do that, I always think its quite cruel to dehorn an adult cow.

I should have nipped them in the bud a few years ago when she was just a calf.
 
I think it is inappropriate to talk about horny cows in the context of a christmas crib...
