Fitting semi-solid floor - cost and recommendations

Can anyone advise of an approximate cost per sq yard/sq metre to fit a semi-solid floor?

Also any recommendations welcome.

I did use the search facility if you must know! The only price for fitting I could find was in a 2006 post and it was for the Limerick area.

I bought a solid oak floor recently and took the fitting service from the company, which came to about 400 Euros for 25sm2. Most places offer fitting service, but it depends on how straight forward a job is. This was just solid floor over ply, but if there is anything complicted about it, it will cost considerably more. Check my previos post from 2006 http://www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=43155 and I can't recommend the guy enough, maybe just give him a call. I think the other guy mentioned in that thread used to fit for Brooks builders, which have excellent flooring, as does woodworkers, so check them out, unless you have your flooring already. good luck!
