Fitting Lino Yourself

Is this a specialist job or would it be relatively easy to do yourself? We have two small bathrooms that we want to put lino in. My husband reckons he would put it down himself with no problem. I am wondering if he is being over simplistic in this. For example, it would be laid over a wooden floor. If we were tiling we would have to get marine plywood to cover the wood, does the same hold for under lino? Do you need adhesive to make it stick and to make it watertight?

If husband is good at DIY projects then I think he would be ok to put down lino.. I am not a specialist but have put down lino myself direct onto timber flooring. We didnt use adhesive and lino is still fine. I think you should ask the seller if glue is required or not.
