Hi,

I am in receipt of FIS now for my second year. Yesterday I had a visit from the dept of social and family affairs to review my case. It went well and I just have to forward some documentation to them. My question is has anyone experienced this before and if so how long do they take to get back to you on the review?
 
Reviews are a normal part of any SW scheme for contraol/audit reasons. Unless there is any change in your rate of payment, they may not get back to you. YTou should know whether this is the case or not yourself.
 
Thanks for coming back to me on this welfarite as I wasn't sure what way it works as this was my first review..!
 
this is my second yr on fis , sent back the forms as soon as they were sent almost 3 mths ago and only last week after 8 weeks without it got my payment into my bank acc they are abt 2 / 3 months behind as i was told after calling them on renewals / new claims but they backdate , only yesterday got my letter to tell me i was awarded x amount but no call house call or otherwise , perhaps its bacause my circumstances have stayed exactly the same ?
