First Trust Fixed Term Deposit - Safe?

Hi,
Is is safe to put money into a First Trust fixed term deposit (Sterling) in Northern Ireland.

I know they are part of AIB... is there any risk involved with First Trust as opposed to any other High street bank?

I'm guessing that all Sterling accounts in UK banks will be safe, since the Pound can devalue but they shouldn't go bust and loose your money.

Am I correct in assuming First Trust is safe enough?

I also presume Ulster Bank and Bank of Ireland Sterling accounts in the North would be too?
