Hi all,
I have owned my home for almost 3 years now. It is the first property I have ever bought and I now plan on renting the property out.
What do I need to do before I rent out the property?
Do I need to let anyone know I am renting the property out? If I do, will I have to pay any fees, etc.? Can I just rent privately?
I have it advertised online and the house is clean and ready for tenants. In fact, I have prospective tenants coming to view the house this coming weekend.
I genuinely am clueless when it comes to property, so any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
