First Active Valuation fee: House Build

Hi All,

Does anyone know who the panel of valuators First Active allow are?
Also, is the 152 valuation fee mandatory?

We had a valuation done on the plot we will hopefully be building on to get an idea of the equity, and not too keen on paying another valuation fee. Anyone know?Thanks in advance,m.
 
If you contact First Active they will give you a list of their panel of valuers in your area. They will require for the site to be independently valued and a valuation of the house on completion. This valuation is required but if you are a FTB they will cover the cost, if not you will probably have to cover the cost yourself but it shouldn't be any more than €127.
