fire place back boiler broken

Moved into rented house end november.fireplace back boiler broken.had 2 plumbers come look at it.both said they would come fix it.Still hasnt been fixed.any suggestions as to who to contact .really want to light fire and save on the oil heating.

no.was told that its totally nackered and needs to be replaced but both plumbers wouldnt do it after keeping me hanging for over a month.

Could it be that the small tank upstairs is not filling ( stop-cock could be stuck) .Check that this tank has water and bleed then bleed rads yourself

If rads are not heating , this is a cause

if ure renting the house y does ure landlord not pay ore get it fixed its up to them
