Finished work end of December? Inform Revenue?

I have been unemployed since 1.1.2010. For period Dec 2008 to Dec 2009 I was on 2 days a week with my total pay under 9,000. Prior to that I was full time from 2003 to Nov 2008 at minimum wage. I am not the main salary earner in the household. This was just a back to work job "to get out of the house".

How soon should I let Revenue know that I am now fully unemployed?I understand that allowances stay in place for a year after employment has been terminated?
I have been getting JSB full time for three months which is now cut off. I will not qualify for JSA.

Your last employer should have filed a P45 form with Revenue .
