Financial Records

Folks,

I'm just wondering can someone help me. I'm trying to find out how long a company has to keep financial records for? Hard or softcopy, or if there is even a difference for different types of financial records.

Revenue normally requires 6 years + the current year.

In my work everything is kept 5 years
