Final Contracts - what do I need to look out for

Hi all

Firstly wanted to take the opportunity to thank everybody for all advice received over the past couple of months - it was all much appreciated and a good learning experience. We signed the first contracts on our first home last week and should be signing the second next Friday. I have been advised to take another quick look at the house before signing - is there anything in particular I should look out for? - I would have thought it was a bit late to do a snag list now!

Is this new or secondhand?

If secondhand, you are just checking that nothing has been removed that should not have been and that vacant possession will be given i.e. if on the morning of the closing, there is evidence of everyone having gone to work and due back, you need to be asking are they moving?

If new, assume you have done your snag list and everything is in order.
