I have lots of small gaps in the door frames, maybe a few mm here and there.
Same in-between the skirtings and the walls.
What is the best solution?

I have used filler and it cracks over time.
Mastick cracks after a while and discolours.

Any good ideas?

Are they flexible though? Vibrations through opening and closing doors etc - would it make it crack ?

Speaking for myself I don't like painters mate I prefer Alex Plus sealer for filling gaps.

It comes in a range of colours and is very smooth.

I have often used Painters Mate for filling door frames, skirting’s etc, never had any problems with it. It is flexible and has not cracked on me. Think it only comes in white, but can be painted after an hour. Never used Alex Plus, so cannot comment on that one.

I also have used painters mate I just prefer Alex Plus.

The nice thing about alex plus is that it doesn't have to be painted over because it is a sealer and it has a shiny look to it.
