J JohnJay Registered User Messages 981 25 Jan 2016 #2 BOI charged me for a replacement card about 2 years ago. I called them to report the my contactless had never worked. It was the straw that broke the camels back, and I closed my account after 30+ years and moved to PTSB.

B bilco Registered User Messages 6 2 Feb 2016 #8 I rang them asking to Opt-In to contact-less, saying its never worked, and they send me a new card for free yesterday. (Perhaps because they upgraded my card to a Premier Banking card though)
