Hi All
Can anyone give me an indication as to how much i would expect to be charged by a Tax Accountant to prepair & submitt my returns ( form 11 ) for the year 2010 Nothing complicated both PAYE workers
 
If you are a PAYE worker why do you file a form 11? If you only have PAYE income you would file a form 12. Proprietory Directors do file form 11 but this is generally filed by the company's accountant.
 
If all you have is PAYE income you should file a Form 12 yourself.

Don't pay anybody to do it.
 
Ask someone to recommend an accountant. It is possible that you're due a refund!
Be upfront with the accountant that the outcome is likely not to result in a fee to him but you'd like to discuss your tax affairs. Accountants are usually happy to chat with someone over coffee even if there's no fee likely to result. We did this recently, the visitor eventually recovered 2,500 in tax - no fee to us but it left a lot of goodwill behind - it's a long road.
