I have been told that if your JSB ends and you do not go on JSA then your course allowance ends - in mid course for example and the same for Work Placement (you might end up working 40 hour/week on WP for nothing and paying your expenses to get there and back)

Many will not go on means testing due to pride, privacy, respect for others in the residence, and other reasons.

Is this True?
