Just wonderint if anybody new about the possibilities/problems involved in putting an extension on a timber framed house. I'm talking about the normal kind of timber frame house that is being built on estates these days instead of concrete.
would it be easier because of the external brickwork only situation going on as opposed to a concrete built house where you have a lot of solid walls to break down.
also would it be cheaper if the extension were also timber frame. I know timber frame is cheaper to buy and build these days so I'm hoping that an extension will be a lot cheaper and easier.
I have no clue - any thoughts or experiences much appreciated.
