I would suggest that he tries to make contact with a male nursing student in any of the 13 institutes in Ireland running Nursing programmes. Does he have any idea which discipline he might be interested in? Most male nurses go for the Psychiatry or Intellectual Disability discipline but there are male general nursing students also (though very much in a minority...which they tell me has huge advantages!!). I think that if you contacted any of the course leaders of the BSc. (Nursing) degree they might pass on your nephew's contact details to some of their male students who might be willing to have a chat with him. You should be able to get the contact details of the BSc. course leaders on the Nursing departments website on the University's home page.
