Euro/Sterling likely future relationship

I've just finished a job in the UK so I now have a UK bank account which I can transfer money into. So I have a 5 figure sum that I'd like to deposit somewhere for about 2 years. The question is would I be better off leaving it in my irish account or transferring it to my UK account.
