Hi, Im Looking for some info, hope someone can help me!!!!

Me & and my partner live together, I receive Illness Benefit and My partner is on Jobseekers ( He's allowed work 2 days per week with it)

At the moment im 5months pregnant, I know im entitled to Child Benefit & Early Childcare when my baby is born,

But im wondering will our weekly income from the Social Welfare go up aswell when da baby is born??

As things are very tight as the moment & the baby isnt here yet!!

Will we be classed as a coupe with 1 child dependent???

You should get an increase in your benefit payment when the baby is born - it might be divided between your illness benefit and your partner's jobseekers. At the moment, the Qualified child allowance is 26 euro per week.

As vandriver said, the Early Childcare supplement finishes at the end of this year, and has been replaced by a year's paid childcare, targeted at 3-4 year olds.
