Ennio Morricone RIP

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, one of the great movies of all time, as much for the soundtrack, if not more, than the acting or the script.

I set aside some time today for Chi Mai, Jill’s theme from One Upon A Time In The West, Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission, Cinema Paradiso.
Haunting music that brought memories flooding back.

He was responsible for the success of the spaghetti westerns, the quintessential American story but made in Europe. Very brave and bold to take on Hollywood and beat them at their own game.
