As the construction industry is in a crisis at the present, & for me down to a 3 day a week, has anyone any recommendations on further education for civil & structural engineers

Look for courses in enviromental engineering?
Yes I was thinking of that alright, but this would be a degree for 4 years. Does anyone know of any other suitable courses in the wind, environemental side of engineering that are worthwhile doing

Look at Sligo IT (distance learning) and Dundalk IT - both seem to speacialise in these areas.

Have you looked at the installation side of things in the wind energy field?
That might be a way in for you.

Cheers for that Purple. I will look into both options. The problem is alot of these courses probably may be closed for registration. However I will rearch both. Thanks Purple & Mimmi.
