I'm looking to sell a rental property and I have a specific concern.
The lease is overdue to be signed for another 12 months with the tenant and I want to let them know as early as possible that I will be selling.
They are entitled to 8 months notice and I was wondering if this notice runs concurrently with the new lease or would the 8 month notice be added on after the 12 month new lease agreement?
Why enter into a new lease at all?
If I had a new 12 month lease and the landlord asked me to facilitate viewings, disturbing my quiet enjoyment of the property,I'd have a short and quick answer.
