Employment in medical companies

Hi Guys,
I am looking for advice - I am a programmer (also an ex-nurse), and I would love to work in a job that combines both skills.

I used to work in the area of Nursing Informatics and I enjoyed this - however it was a contract role and I had tried unsuccessfully for full time permanents roles.

There are a few companies - Quantum; does anyone know of any companies that operate in the healthcare area?

I am basically just tired of the stress, the hours, and the inflexibility of hours in my current role....

Have you got any experience in software validation? Doing this for companies to FDA and MDD standards within an ISO:13485 environment is still very much in demand.

Some of the medical supplies companies just love to get ex-nurses (particularly the flirty ones) into sales roles.
