Hi all,

I am looking to get quotes for the total electrical wiring of a new build (2 storey) Cabling, fuse board all cabling etc etc. Does anyone know of a competitive supplier in the Dublin area?
 
try Meteorelectrical.com a northern based company or Alertelectrical.com, based in the uk both have prices nearly 1/2 those of the ones in the republic.

Who's gonna wire it? Do you think you can get the gear cheaper than an electrician? Do you know how much cable of each size you need for the installation?
 
The electrician is a mate and will be wiring it for me. So im trying to source the best price for materials ex vat. Recession times calls for 'shop around''.
 
Is your mate registered with RECI/ECSSA? you will need a completion certificate to get the installation connected to ESB.

Surly if the electrician is a mate you would trust him to get the best price for you.
