About to sort out the kerbs around my house ~80m in total length. I'm not a fan of your standard concrete precast kerb and was going to go with putting sleepers down. Not so sure about the sleeper option anymore, as the non cresoted treated ones, from what i can see, are very dear - €40 for one in Morris's in Waterford (and I think this is only pine).

What other cost effective options are there out there.....any interesting products out there!!

Check out some natural stone, Granite has become cheap. Looks well and lasts too.
How about a brick kerbs also, depends on what kind of driveway your going with Tarmac, stone ect. I'd imagine the options are fairly big.
