Dressmaking or Curtain Making course in the South East

Just wondering if anyone knows of, or even better, recommend a course that would cover general dressmaking as well as Curtain Making in the South East. I see Kilroy College have a distance learning course but worry about how beneficial a distance course would be, any recommendations welcome.
